What are the Leadership Essentials?
The Leadership Essentials Coaching Program focuses on cornerstones of business leadership:
- The Crusader
- The Collaborator
- The Conformer
When we start out in business, the Crusader is needed to drive us to take the risks we need to take to get us started. We need impetus to get us out of the inertia of what may go wrong, so determined, single-focused and tenacious thinking is needed. As a Crusader we focus on sales and marketing, and getting things going. Business systems are less important than getting things on the move.
As we begin to build some success, the Crusader needs to remain. However, the Collaborator now needs to move to the fore – this is the archetype that can build strategic alliances, relationships within the team and inspire those around them. They have the ability to get teams moving in the same direction, focused on their vision.
The Collaborators and Crusaders need some organising, however, because they’re so busy building and designing and creating that someone needs to design, implement and maintain effective systems. All the creativity is going to be wasted unless it can be replicated.
